Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about restoration timelines, mould risk, insurance claims and what to do in the first hour after a loss.
Can smoke damage be fully removed?
Yes. With professional equipment and techniques, smoke odour and residue can be effectively removed from walls, ceilings and belongings. Success depends largely on how quickly restoration begins — soot becomes more acidic and more deeply embedded the longer it sits.
Is it safe to stay in my home during restoration?
It depends on the severity of the damage. In cases of significant fire, smoke or water damage, it may be safer to temporarily relocate until the property is restored. We will tell you plainly which situation you are in at the first assessment.
How do you prevent mould after water damage?
Mould prevention involves rapid drying, proper ventilation and antimicrobial treatments. Acting quickly is critical, as mould can begin to develop within 24 to 48 hours.
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes. We document the damage, provide detailed estimates, communicate with your adjuster and support the claim from first notice through to completion.
What types of properties do you service?
Residential, commercial and multi-family properties across Alberta, from single units to whole buildings.
How much does restoration cost?
Costs vary with the extent of the damage and the services needed. We provide complimentary estimates and work with insurance providers to keep the scope accurate and the claim moving.
How fast can you be on site?
Our emergency line is answered 24 hours a day at 403-891-9482. Response time depends on your location in Alberta and current call volume — call and we will tell you a real time, not a slogan.
What should I do before the crew arrives?
Make the property safe first. Shut off the water at the main if a supply line has failed, and do not enter a fire-damaged structure until it has been cleared. Photograph what you can safely reach, and do not throw anything away — your adjuster will want to see it.
Still have a question? Send it through or call the emergency line at 403-891-9482 — it is answered 24 hours a day.
